The Most Appealing Looks From the Grammys 2021

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles on March 14, 2021, with proper measures and social distancing.

The annual event is the most awaited and acclaimed recognition in the music field, the equivalent of the Oscars, and the first edition was held on May 4, 1959, in which the Italian singer-songwriter Domenico Modugno won with the famed song Nel blu dipinto di blu.

Originally called the Gramophone Award, the event is presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (also called Recording Academy), an association of American artists and technicians involved in the music industry, which is also in charge of voting.

The Grammys are split up into different categories, divided according to musical genres, and the trophy — a statuette representing a gramophone — is handcrafted by Billings Artworks.

Beyoncé in Schiaparelli — a black gathered mini dress, gloves with trompe l’œil gold fingernails and a pair of drop earrings in gilded brass and enamel made up of a cascade of surrealist elements — won four Awards and she is now the most awarded artist in Grammy history.

Inspired by the splendor of nature — won the Grammy for Best Album with “Folklore” and she is the only woman with three Grams in this category.

Dua Lipa in Versace — the sculptural cape reveals a crystal-encrusted ensemble. The dress is emboldened with fuchsia Medusa studs — awarded for Best Pop Act Album for her “Future Nostalgia”.

Billie Eilish dressing in Gucci — floral jacquard shirt and pants with embroidered sequins, bucket hat, mismatched floral jacquard gloves, leather lug sole rubber loafers with Horsebit detail, white gold lion head earrings with aquamarine and diamonds — won Record of the Year for “Everything I Wanted” and Best Song Written for Visual Media for “No Time to Die”.

Harry Styles in Gucci — a custom leather cropped jacket with flared pants, fake fur boa and leather boots with GG chain detail for the performance and a tweed jacket with a knitted tartan sweater vest, velvet flared pants, fake fur boa and leather boots — winner of a Grammy for the Best Pop Solo Performance with his “Watermelon Sugar”

Megan Thee Stallion wearing Dolce&Gabbana — a strapless orange gown with a thigh-high slit and a dramatic oversized bow detail, paired with coordinating high heel sandals featuring crystal accents and for her performance, the look was made up of Swarovski crystal-enriched looks, including a feather cape, a nude illusion bodycon suit and a caged corset bodysuit— won three Grammys for Best New Artist, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance with the remix of her song “Savage”, created with Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z.
